The maisonette is situated in a quiet suburb of Barry (recently made famous by the BBC's series Gavin & Stacey) and is a 7 minute walk from the train station which will take into Newport within 35 minutes, and for those who wish to drive, there are very good links with the main motorway to Newport (M4) that you can be parked up at Tredegar House within 35 minutes of stepping out of the front door. Cardiff city centre is just a 10 minute train ride away for those who wish to go shopping, or extend their stay in Wales.

Also being situated in Barry you will also benefit in being just a 5 minute walk from the town centre shopping area, and 7 minutes drive the famous ‘Barry Island’ with it’s award winning beach, steam railway, cliff walks and even a small family run amusement park! Cardiff International Airport is only a short drive away as well.

There are two main chain supermarkets close by and just 10 minutes drive away from a Marks & Spencers Superstore, there are also plenty of traditional family pubs to experience welsh hospitality.

Minimum stay is 7 days, but property available for longer terms if required, needs to be seen to be believed, all of our vistors never want to leave! Would make a unique base for an extended holiday to explore Wales (and even the rest of the UK given the good rail links)
