About Shell Houston Open

The Shell Houston Open is a regular golf tournament on the PGA Tour. It is currently played in April at Redstone Golf Club in the Houston suburb of Humble. Shell and the Houston Golf Association are the main sponsors of the tournament. The 2008 purse was $5,600,000, with $1,008,000 going to the winner.
